# Design

Design notes for Agri Stack: registry data sync, the Livestock Registry.

These pages record where the design discussion has landed. Each page says what is built and what is proposed. Built products are documented with each product (for example [activity registers](/products/registry/registry/features/activity-register.md) and the [Crop Sown Registry](/products/registry/crop-sown-registry.md)); how each install is set up for Agri Stack is in [Deployment](/products/open-agri-stack/deployment.md).

The Composite's design is in its own section: [Composite](/products/open-agri-stack/exchange/composite.md).

| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------- |
| [Registry data sync](/products/open-agri-stack/design/registry-data-sync.md) | Registries sharing data with each other through outgestion and ingestion: crop activity from Crop Sown kept in the Farmer Registry (reference design), the gaps, mirrors of farmer data | Proposal, not in use |
| [Livestock Registry](/products/open-agri-stack/design/livestock-registry.md) | An Animal register and a livestock events activity register in one registry: events, entities first, corrections, keys, relation to the Farmer Registry, what it would share | Planned, design only |

The platform-wide proposal for one verification model and one correction model for both register kinds is in the Registry Platform: [Verification and Correction (Proposal)](/products/registry/registry/design/verification-and-correction.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.openg2p.org/products/open-agri-stack/design.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
